We stock a wide range of oral hygiene aids from all the leading manufacturers including Braun, Colgate, Sensodyne, Johnson & Johnson and Oral-B.

Our oral care products may of course be purchased at any time and at the Beaconsfield Dental Practice we always aim to keep our prices lower than the high street. However, unlike the high street, we are also able to offer you unbiased professional advice on which products will be best for you, as well as how use them to their best advantage.

Automated toothbrushes
We recommend the Braun Oral B automated toothbrush for people who struggle to get their teeth clean, as it always gives a better result than a manual brush.

Conventional brushes
The conventional brushes which we recommend are small, the Sensodyne 3.5 being the best for most people.

Floss and other cleaning tools
Cleaning between the teeth is often forgotten but there are a large number of different tools to help you. These range from dental floss or tape, to a wide range of miniature bottlebrushes. All of these can be explained to you by the dentist or hygienist to make sure you have the right gadget for your mouth.

Mouthwashes
Fluoride and antibacterial mouthwashes are also useful for certain conditions where necessary.

Sportsguards
The use of a custom made sportsguard is strongly advised for all adults and children who play contact sports such as rugby, squash, hockey, etc. Our guards are made with various coloured soft plastics to an impression of your own jaw and are specially designed to absorb impact, thus helping to prevent damage to the teeth and lips.

Sportsguards are available in a range of colours, and their timely use can easily repay their cost many times over by helping to avoid the need for expensive and time consuming remedial cosmetic treatment!
